break dust free

RainX will give you the same exact effect this stuff gives you. It will repel surface crap, so just a rinse of water and the wheels will be clean. It will last a nice solid two weeks. I did this method for years, long before this miracle product.

Bass, I believe he's referring to the RainX protectant rather than the glass treatment. I've never tried it, but it sounds like a sealant product approved for various surfaces.

Are you tracking your car? If not why would you even believe in a product that claims to be different than all the other products? The only product I believe is different than the rest is wd-40 because I saw a list of like 200 uses for it.
If brake dust isn't bad I wash my rims with a ez-brush once a month, if it is bad and caked on I will use CG wheel gels, and once a year now I will be taking off the rims and cleaning the inside 100% with Megs wheel brightener if its bad or again CG wheel gel if its not.
Phil at detailersdomain also has a couple of products that are reported to be amazing for rims, but if you want to spend $5 on some meguiars hot rod wheel cleaner or Armor All (who uses the s2000's dash on half their products, and I hope to god armor all is never used on an s2000's dash) then be my guest. It certainly works, but it doesn't work more than mediocre and it doesn't smell like oranges or other fruits!

Honestly, I wash my car way too often to have brake dust buildup. Those videos above are very deceiving. I am NOT saying the product doesn't work, but the videos are bs. Brake dust is NOT the same as a mud slurry. Break dust is hot, statically charged dust, which sticks to your negatively charged wheel. It's dry and not nearly the same properties as a slurry.
There is no product currently on the market that REPELS brake dust. Some products (like the one above) make it EASY TO REMOVE, but brake dust will stick to your wheel regardless of what you put on it.

I like Wheel Wax. Easy to apply and it polishes and protects all wheels.

I like the smell of Meguiars commercial detailer (the pink one) it smells like Pina Colada/ Coconuts, and the Meguiars tire gel...smells like grape jelly. I wrote them an email asking them to switch to raspberry, because I don't like grapes, but I fear my email may go unanswered.
