Blueish tint?

The Mercedes glass 'blue tint' cannot be replicated with tinting.
The thickness of the glass allows the blue 'dye' to spread apart through the thickness and when we look into the glass we see a different color of blue on all angles.
Regular tinting can never replicate this with it's super thin layer.

Mercedes glass is made blue. While its liquid, blue is added to the glass to make it look like that. Honda does the same exact thing, except one minor detail.....Honda uses green.
You will not be able to replicate the Benz look, so dont attempt it. Just get regular tints.

That could go real bad real quick and end up being a waste of $$.
That being said- if you try it let us know how it looks!

Odd that I read this thread yesterday, because when I went to the gym last night, there was a riced out Civic there with a light blue tint on the windows. I'd agree with everyone else that the tint cannot be replicated externally, because the Civic looked horrible! It basically looked like someone put shitty blue cellophane over perfectly good windows. Blah.

im sure you can duplicate it. ..but ive never seen such a light blue tint anywhere. it would turn out horrible if you went too dark.
check with 3m. i know they make lots of films, and they even have very light ones (50% and 75%). .maybe they have soemthing in a blue tint.
