Default Block sanding/Paint leveling

The car is going to be down for a wee bit... again. i think this is the perfect opportunity to block sand her and really see how sharp i can get the finish. I know Mequiar's(sp?) has one that kinda touches on it.

BTW, the car has obviously been repainted, so I should have enough clearcoat to pull this off, right?

I did some online research on honda paint and read that they wet sand acura cars after the first clear coat, then shoot them with more clear coat again.

You have to determine if the orange peel is in your clear or underneath in your color coat. If you can feel it or tell that it is the clear, it is possible to level the clear. If the surface is smooth to the touch but still looks like orange peel underneath, it is in your color coat and should have been leveled before the clear.

Thanks. That'll help me know if the task is worth it, however, I'm looking for technique tips.
