Hey MickeyC. I have Menzerna's final Polish II and I need to get a more abrasive polish for my Jeep. I was about to order Pinacle XMT #3. Do you think I would be better of using the Blackfire instead?
Personally, I would get the Blackfire. On a traditional paint finish like the S2K's it should have about the same cut as XMT #3. In fact, the Blackfire finishes out so finely you really shouldn't need to follow up with FPII, but that depends on the pad you need to use. The only downside is the Blackfire is $25 and the XMT is $13 (I think).

Here's what you can expect to acheive from using there polish. The polish is Menzerna, however Blackfire uses there polishand adds a bit more lubrication. All in all the polish results are equal. These shots also show Blackfire's Sealant and the new sealant/wax combo topping as well.

Wow... looks like another product I need to add to my arsenal. If it really cuts as well as IP and finishes down as good as FPII, it could save me a lot of time polishing!

Yep, that's what you're looking at....the new blackfire combo. It really seems to work well.

Holy wowness. I just threw away alot of polishes after I tried out this SRC. I was able to cut out at least 2 to 3 hours of polishing with this stuff. Completely worth the price.

And no I don't have any pics. I always forget the best shots so them the after shots are worthless.

I definitely need some of this... Im going to be painting one of my cars in SW SRC soon and my lip for the S as well. Where have all you gotten yours?

Anyone use the 3M SRC polish (# 05927)? The polishing steps on that are kind of interesting but I've still heard that its still a PITA to polish SRC with it, regular paint would be another story though!
