Default Bird Crap on the Seats

Today I had a rather traumatic experience. I was sitting in start and stop traffic, which normally would have frustrated the hell out of me, but being in my S with the top down on such a beautiful sunny and mild day had brought a calming effect over me. Then, without warning, a bird flies over the car and dumps a load square in the middle of the passenger seat (where, thankful to say, my wife was NOT sitting at the time). This REALLY ruined my afternoon. I pulled over at the first opportunity and grabbed a white, 100% American cotton washcloth from the trunk (another reason to thank Sal Zaino!) and wiped up as much of the crap as I could. Then, when I got home I went to work on the rest. Although it appears that I was able to get it all off the surface of the leather, I can still see some around the rims of the interiors of the little hole punches in the leather. Any suggestions on how to clean that out? Do I need to worry about the crap damaging the leather (or for that matter, the Fantastic that I used when nothing else in the house seemed right for the job)?
