I wash my towels after each time they are used. I also wash new towels before I use them for the 1st time. This is what I use to wash them:

ONR. I get with a couple of days enough dust fallout that even light QD and a decent MF it still gives me light scratches. A car cover is your friend.

quick detailer is your friend. That combined with good MF towels will help keep the car looking good. QD isnt meant for heavily soiled areas, but light dirt, bird doodoo and bugs its good for.

Meguiars qd's are decent for OTC. Some other ones to try if ordering online would be Chemical Guys, Werkstat, Optimum, and Meg's Last Touch. My favorite towel to use for QD is Tropi-Care Grey MF towels.
I agree that QDs are your friend, but it totally depends on what QD you use if you want to keep your car clean in between washes. A lot of QDs are meant to be used on clean paint surfaces only, while others have lubricants in them that will allow you to wipe off light dirt, dust, bird bombs, etc without scratching your paint.

Poorboys Spray & Wipe is what I use to keep my vehicles clean in between washes. It's basically a waterless wash type of QD, and because of the lubricants it has it won't scratch your paint. Poorboys Spray & Gloss however is meant to be used on clean paint surfaces only. So people should just make sure what type of QD they are using before they wipe down their dirty vehicle with it.

Want a cheap alternative that works great? Go to Lowe's Home Improvement. In the household cleaning supplies section, look for a yellow sponge made by "Pro-Line" - it's called a Grout Sponge. I'm serious. It's one of the softest sponges I've ever used, perfectly sized, and at $2/each, you can buy several.
