BEST WAY TO REPAIR LOWER BUMPER SCRAPE?!
Okay, I DID IT!
Just got fresh professional paint work and clear bra on my MYO1 Berlina Black and scraped the front edge on a curb stop while pulling in to park the car! YIKES, it just about killed me. I've taken it back to the shop that JUST replaced and repainted the bumper cover and they say they can't repair it unless they pull the whole bumper cover off the car. I'm thinking that there's got to be a way to do a nice job without pulling the cover, especially since the damage is mostly in the under edge area, about 10 inches across.
Any ideas you guys? I'm thinking that a decent shop should be able to remove the bottom piece of clear bra (it's actually a piece of clear tape seamed on both ends for easy removal) wet sand the edge, prime it and paint it after masking it off.
HELP! I'm in the DC/Northern VA area if anybody know a shop that can assist directly.
