Best way to remove rust
I'm getting RGII's soon and I want to remove the rust in the wheel hub so that I can paint it black. What is the best way to do this?
I've been told to just use a steel brush...I do have Bondo rust remover but have never really had any success with it.
Also, does anyone know where I can purchase some high temp spray paint?

if its really stubborn, you might also try naval jelly or "rust be gone"- both very acidic so be very very careful with this stuff!
the reason that coke often works is that it is also acidic-
after the rust, i would use something like brakeclean before the painting. i prefer brush on epoxy based paints to spray on.. for longer life

Over the counter products that work great are CLR and Limeaway. I don't like Coca Cola because it leaves a sticky mess I really liked the effectiveness of the CLR as it also took off hardwater marks and other stubburn stains on the rims themselves.
Remember to rinse the parts well and try to use a product called Boeshield which is a metal penetrant that leaves a rust inhibitor (waterproofing) that keeps the oxidation at bay.
