Best Wax for a Lazy Guy....
I love my car but would much rather be driving some twisties than washing and waxing...
What is the best wax/wash combo that produces the best results in the least amount of time?
Thanks,
Lazy Guy

any short cut will have some consequence...
my recommendation would be (like xviper said) wash when it needs it (using good quality car shampoo), and treat the vinyl and leather. i would probably use old fashioned carnuba if i was not going to use a multi-stage process (like zaino). my choice of a simple to use and quick on/off wax would be p21s:

one disadvantage of wax over synthetic is that the wax will not last as long, and you will need to rewax more often to keep your finish protected.

Remember, Zaino + ZFX is really a one-step process (although most of us want to put on more than one coat). For "easy", I'd stick with synthetics, otherwise you're looking at either many more applications or no protection much of the time (as wanabe noted).
There are some wash/wax combos that suite some folks. Maybe someone has experience with one of those. BTW, what color is your S2000?

Speaking of synthetics, I've actually used stuff like "Duralube" shine and "Prolong" shine. Both of these worked amazingly well for what they are. I used to do one coat per year and this proved to be "OK".

Your not getting it...I'm really lazy... I have the "Resort Club " membership at the carwash down the street. My idea of roughing it is a 4**** Hotel. Seriously, still too many steps...Let's get the ultimate "Lazy Guy" referendum on wash/wax combo's for the S2K. (Let's see..."Resort Club" plus I hire the guy with the "Will Work For Beer" sign on the freeway on-ramp, or...)
Thanks,
Lazy Guy

pay the $100 and have someone detail and wax it for you. otherwise, maguire's makes a "detailing spray" that sprays on and wipes off. its great between waxings and leaves a great shine.
