Best swirl mark remover?
I was looking at both the Poorboy's SSR line and the Sonus SFX stuff. I heard the Poorboy's stuff can be used in sunlight (which would be good since I dont have a garage), but I am thinking of buying an EZ-Up Canopy so that would no longer be an issue.
So I was wondering if anyone can comment on the Poorboys or Sonus stuff or suggest something else all together.
Thanks.

Hey i know how your feeling i got the fastest color too. Its hard to get the swirls out without a proper polish. I have tried MANY i mean MANY polishes for the swirls and ive stopped here at the 3M Ultrafina polish.
also i use it with the 3M Ultrafina pad. and honestly its the BEST product i have ever used in my 3 years of detailing. I gave the car a good detail about a week ago. and after the buffing, the foaming, and the polish. I gave the car another wash to see if i had any swirls HIDING undering the wax. and after the wash....i had no swirls what so ever.
to 3m for the Ultrafina. Ultrafina

There are many good swirl removers on the market. For swirl removal I have Meg's, 3M, Clearkote, Blackfire, Optimum, Sonus and Zaino ZPC. I like it all except the ZPC.

Thanks for the info. I am leaning towards trying the Sonus since I have seen people have success applying it by hand (no PC yet because no power where I wash & wax).

Think you'll find this useful. This is about the best you'll find anywhere in my opinion.

Just a comment on Poorboy's SSR line:
I love the SSRs for swirl and defect removal (especially with the PC and correct pad combination). SSR's have no oils/fillers, so there'd be no need to do a wipe-down with isopropyl alcohol to find any hiding swirls. Using the higher SSRs, you'll have to step down the line if you're using removing stuff like sanding marks (i.e. SSR3/cutting pad-> SSR2/polishing pad or SSR2.5/cutting pad-> SSR1/polishing pad). SSR 3 and 2.5 leave a bit of a haze which isn't noticable until you go over the area again with a less abrasive polish. But thats how it normally is within the product lines. Poorboys has great stuff (for on the cheap!).

it is all opinion...
have used lots of them (have used sonus, but not poorboys)-
for black cars, i like the 3m remover/glaze- its a light remover, which means its very easy on the clear coat. what it cant remove, it fills.
so its a great look-
this is it, and nice car in this ad!! :
