Best products to clean brake dust and protect from it?
I've been using Carbotech XP10/8 for Track and Autocross use and the pads are great! -- But after every event, there's a film of brake dust on the side of my car.
Not even the pressure washer seems to remove it easily.
For now, I've been rinsing the car with the pressure washer, spraying with soap & water mix then letting it sit, rinsing that off, then wiping clean with the double bucket method. I've been doing this every weekend on Sunday, and there has to be an easier way...
What do you guys find is the best way to protect from brake dust? And what is the best way to get this corrosive stuff off my paint (and wheels)?!

A ceramic coating will help a lot here. That brake dust should be MUCH easier to spray off once a coating is applied -- I would do both the wheels and paint.

I'd purchase some type of iron remover such as CarPro Iron x. Any scent they sell is going to smell horrific, but it works well. That should break down the brake dust that embedded itself into the paint. To make cleaning easier the next time, throw a coat of wax/sealant over the car.

I used Menzerna powerlock on my wheels and brake dust never stuck to them, I would use the same on your car's body. As mentioned above a ceramic coating would be a step up too. Menzerna is easy to apply , leaves the surface nice and slick. Brake pad material is worse when it comes off hot and sticks to the metal, not much will protect that with some of the higher metal content pads, but Carbotech pads are better than others in that regard.

Ceramic coating, and regular 'wheel wax" applications.
As far as paint, regular waxing and spray wax applications

Trying to get it off before it gets any moisture/rain on it helps a bunch too. But that is hard to do. I am with ya... my car should just be painted brake dust color to save me some hassle lol. The Carbotechs are better than some though. DTC60 dust is incredibly horrible to deal with in comparison IMO
