Best leather and/or vinyl protectant for interior?
Would anyone please recommend a leather and or vinyl protectrant that does not upon application appear "shiny" detracting from original appearance and hopefully does not have a "scent" that will mask the original new leather smell. I am reluctant to use some products like "armourall" or "son of a gun" because I think they look too shine, fake, or detract from surfaces original appearance.
I garage and cover my 2001 and the dash, seats, and other parts are still pretty clean, with very little sun-fading, and after 30 months the interior still has that awesome new leather smell, which I find pleasant.
I purchased bottle of "3M Refresh" scented vinyl & leather protectant but have not used it so far. Would appreciate your input, thanks.

I haven't tried any others, but I'm happy with the Zaino Protectant. It's good for both leather and vinyl, so I don't have to buy different products for each, nor try to remember which surfaces are what. I like the smell while applying it, and the smell doesn't last, leaving the leather small (though right now my interior still smells a bit of mothballs!), and though it does deepen the color (my interior is red) it doesn't add too much shine.

ArmorAll was created in the bowels of hell, and you must stay away!
Lexol, Meguiars, 303, Zaino, all good stuff. Remember it's important to find not just a CLEANER but a PROTECTANT as well. You must "feed" the leather to keep its pliability and keep it from cracking. All of the above carry leather "food" except 303, which acts more as a sunscreen.
Matter of preference, really.

I like the Zaino cleaner but am less thrilled with the protectant that leaves a shiny finish, so I use the Lexol. 303 does a nice job on the dash.

I agree on the Lexol. I just used the cleaner and the conditioner yesterday. The red leather looks a little darker and softer but appears no shinier. However, I spent an hour cleaning all of the Lexol Vinyl Protectant off the dash after it made it VERY shiny.

i too with black dash find the lexol vinylex a bit shiny, but if you go over it with a damp rag it leaves a nice soft non shiny satiny glow on the dash vinylex looks great on tires too..
