Default Asking for a little Comparo!

I bought DP Max Wax as my first wax by the venerable MikeyC and was very impressed. After that I bought Poorboys Natty's Blue and first thought it was superior, but after running out of it, and then going BACK to the DP, I'm quite impressed with it.

But, now it's time for a new order of supplies and the Lusso Oro is calling my name on detailers domain. They are almost equal in prise (lusso is only $10 more) and was wondering which one gives the more depth and shine. I would like some constructive reviews.. not that the more expensive one would be better, because my Natty's was ALMOST as good as the DP at half the price..

Thanks!

Aaron

Never used DP, but I have to say, the Lusso Oro is a very nice wax. Easy to get thin coats, and is really smooth. Just buy it. I think you will like it a lot. I have a few different waxes in my detailing cabinet

95% of the depth and shine comes from what you do to your car before the LSP.

God point brought up. But I guess what I'm getting at is how price really effects the wax. Can you really tell the difference from swissvax concorso and lusso oro? With a $200 difference? Or is it like the "butt dyno" theory where you think its more shiny 'cause you just dropped a lot of money on wax?

Don't get me wrong, my next purchase is some jetseal 109, and zymol glasur (which is $100). So I want to get into the expensive waxes.. but between such ones as Lusso Oro and DP or even Lusso Oro and Swissvax Onyx? Just a thought!

Phil,

Kinda disappointed that that is all you said. I understand they are both good, but is concorso REALLY worth the $230? Is there really THAT much difference between lusso and swissvax?

And I'm ordering my stuff today, doing a big detail next weekend. So hopefully I'll get the zymol glasur then. Then I'd be happy to do a write up, WITH COMPARO PICS! I still have a tiny bit of my DP left.

We'll see what happens...
