Any secrets for cleaning the roof well ??
Anyone out there with the secret on how to clean the dust etc out of the well that the convertible top folds into ?? I cannot seem to contort myself in a way that allows me to get in there with a dusting cloth. Tried it with the top up, or part way down.
I've got Rick's full size windscreen installed, which makes access that much more difficult. Taking the screen off for the cleaning might help, but I was hoping there was a better answer out there.......

Take the seats out .... just kidding.
It is not easy no matter what. I've found that the easiest access is with th top part way up, seat pulled all the way forward and using the vacuum with a short extension and brush attachment provides me the best access.
Also, if you have young (pre-teen) children and the interior version of the California Duster. they should have much less problems contorting themselves to clean back there.
Or do as Wanabe does and never put the top up!

(but oh, so true...)
i still vacuum that area once a year or so, whether it needs it or not-
and feel like a contortionist trying to get in there... especially to plexus the window from the inside.
btw, never put the top up, and also leave the boot on!
