Default Any problems Zainoing a windshield?

just zainoed my windshield on sunday, and got a nasty crack via a tiny rock chip yesterday! I'm not sure if the elastic properties fo zaino helped put stress on the windshield. Most likely it is just a coincidence, but if anyone else has had problems, please let me know.

i doubt that the zaino could cause that at all... no finish is that strong! if anything it would protect (although a very small amount of protection for glass).
