Default Any one use Mr. Clean autodry carwash?

I just picked one up but have not used it yet... I was wondering if anyone has used it and wanted to know what they thought about it... like does it really dry with no spots? Thanks

My friend tried it, said it worked great initially. But it rained today and his car had a ridiculous amount of huge water spots, more so than normal. Only reason I could figure was the Mr. Clean. :shrugs:

Zaino is an array of cleaning products. It seems that you are more concerned with getting your car washed quickly rather than well, in which case I would try the Mr. Clean.

I bought one, and gotten to use it once. It nocked off wash time by about 10 min, and I got to skip the dry time, although next time I will use my car blade on the windshield. You need to let the car sit until it dries. So far I've not used it enough to have a defenitive answer as to its true performance.

I used autodry once this weekend--I just bought from kmart for $20. I was actually pretty impressed. Did not leave any waterspots. My only two complaints is that the soap doesnt last long, and you have to know how to wash the car--meaning I highly recommend washing the top first before you wash the body of the car and do it with just regular car wash soap and water--the mr clean deionized spray doesnt spray hard enough to wash the soap out of the top.

discussed on the wash & wax forum....
concluded that it is good for folks with hard water, or water spot problems, but that most of us would not use the soap that comes with it and also would still dry our cars off.
primary benefit seems to be for those whose water is not great.

I have horribly hard water, it's a nightmare. My plan was to pick one of these up and continue to use my P21S to wash the car and then just rinse using their filter...

I'm curious what the additive they are using is, and if that alone could have any negative effects.
