Hi,

Just wondering if there was a hand wash and hand wax detail shop in the southern california area that use ZAINO.

If so, how much does it cost to get a wash and a wax?

It would depend on what was being done for it to be time consuming.

Our detailer washes and hand-waxes our cars (but only I do the S), and I am sure he would do the Z-2 no problem. The key is the Z1 + Z2 application takes too long. In the dry California air, the Z2 (as an additional coat) dries quick enough that you can use it in place of regular wax.

The stuff is expensive though, so I think they may not mind if you supply the raw materials rather than expect them to obtain the Zaino for you.

Come on folks! ZFX!!!

I can't believe everyone thinks it takes so long to apply Zaino. Z2+ZFX = two coats in less than one hour. Is there anything short of wax/wash combination stuff that's faster to apply?

mntony... its still too long to be profitable to a detailer. unless he is charging a couple hundred bucks for the job!

Yes, P21S/S100. I haven't seen anything go on and off faster than this.

Hand Wash
Hand Dry
Clean & Vacuum the interior
Wash your rims
Z1 + Z2 your entire car + rims
Clean your plastic window w/my special cleaner
wait 1 hour for Zaino to dry and take it off by hand

I will need to do it at my house in southern california where I have a shaded area to wash and dry so there are no spots on the car.

There's a mall and a movie theater in walking distance to my house so you can drop off the car and come back in about 3 hours.
