HOLY CRAP!

I guess there's no way to hold this dealer accountable?

Judging solely on these photos and video, I'm going to have to disagree with xviper that it's buffer BURN.

It definitely LOOKS like buffer trails/hologramming but I'm not sure it's buffer BURN. BURN would be cut through the clear, bubbled clear, opaque clear or simply paint missing or thinned to the point that it doesn't have a gloss or you can see the primer through it. What you're seeing here looks like a rotary buffer that was either:
- used with a VERY aggressive polish
- used with a VERY aggressive pad
- used with a dry pad
- used with a contaminated pad (or contaminated paint - unwashed/dusty)
- moved too quickly, so that the polish couldn't break down
- simply used wrong

I've found that no matter how carefully I work it, if I'm using a cutting pad to level paint with the rotary, there are always going to be buffer marks/holograms. When I follow up with a lighter polish/pad combo, that takes care of those holograms and any residual marks left by the previous combo. If I go with a light polish & pad to begin with (i.e. light cleaning, light polishing) I never get holograms and can go right to LSP. Then again, I'm paying attention to what I'm doing.

I *THINK* you might be able to have a professional detailer (qualfied, with good referrals) fix this problem. I've PM'd a Portuguese detailer from Autopia.org ... maybe, by some RARE off chance, he's near you...

edit: here's the black Porsche that this Portuguese guy brought back from the dead...

Good luck with it.
