Advise on polishing products
Hello all,
I recently bought a Mequiars G220 with some products from a UK forum member . Attach you can see the picture of the package deal. However i want to ask you a some advice for polishing products. I want to have products to polish from a deep scratch to very light swirl marks and finish with a polish Can you please tell me from the photo what is missing to make a better polishing packet? I mean is it missing a Meguiars product for polishing finish or a heavy cut polishing product for deep scratches if you know what i mean?
Many Thanks
Chris

M80 and M83 are Meguiar's older diminishing abrasive polishes. Folks successfully used them for years and years, and there's no reason you can't use them successfully, too. But at least among detailers they are being replaced by the new SMAT polishes, M105 and M205. The paint on your S2000s is pretty soft. You may find that M80 is all you need, depending on the degree of paint correction needed. Do a test spot. If M80 doesn't remove the swirls to your satisfaction, then move up to M83 and then follow-up with M80.
One thing for sure, you will need at least two more (yellow) polishing pads and perhaps an additional (black) finishing pad.
