ACDetailing and Auto Concierge: 1991 Ferrari F40
This was another collaboration between Bob from Auto Concierge, and myself. This is probably going to be one of the highlights of my young detailing career! It's a 1991 Ferrari F40. The owner just bought the car about a month ago, and he bought it with only 2600 miles on it!!! But this car was meant to DRIVE. So the owner didn't want a full on concourse detail with it, and why, you may ask? Why not go all out on a $500k car? Well because this bad boy's going to the track next week. That's right, the owner's going to do what it was MEANT to do... RACE!
20 Man hours later...

Microfiber mitts
200mph leaf blower

P&S Envro-Clean

3M UF via Finishing Pad and Flex Rotary
Lexan:
3M UF via 3" finishing Pad and Metabo
CG WMF via hand
Interior
RIGID Shop Vac
PRC Glaze on Windows
DIC-20 on windows
P&S Interior Cleaner
LSP:
Swissvax Concorso
When I first arrived in the morning:
Condition of the wheels:
Working in the WMF and PRC:
Finished!:
Looking decent, eh? Getting ready to crawl in to the engine bay:
Working the WMF on the lexan:
The master working the paint:
What the hell am I doing down there?
Getting every nook and cranny, that's right!
The whole body is made out of Carbon Kevlar! So sexy!!
Priming the pad with Concorso. I can not tell you what clearity, depth, and slickness the concorso gave the Ferrari. It just brought it to the next level for sure:
The sweetness all finished!
SWEET Interior. The interior is simply timeless. It may be out dated, but it's still simply amazing:
We couldn't pull it out of the shop, as it was awaiting clear bra (also why there's no real pics of the hood, because it was all messy from the clear bra). So just to prove no swirls!:
That's all guys! As always, C/C Welcome!

It's the flex rotary with 3" pads. It's actually not too expensive, my metabo was more . But I LOVE the flex rotary.
And yes, the paint was put on ridiculously thin for weight savings. The pain is supposedly around .3 mils think or some crazy number like that. So you can't really hit it hard anyways!
