I used to use an absorber but found that it was leaving slight swirls in the paint.

I've since used a pair of large microfiber clothes and it works great.

My Absorbers have been relegated to my daughter's kool-aid spills.

The waffle weave drying towel from Pakshak works so much better.

The Absorber works well as long as it is clean & conditioned. The word on the street is the more you wash your Absorber the better it absorbs. I've found this to be true. Once it's broken in it should work just fine.
One of these days I'm going to get my hands on this great Big Blue I keep hearing about.

^ That could be why I love mine so much. Mine don't scratch and they suck up much more water than my Big Blue. My Big Blue == I know many others swear by them though. I believed the hype and wasted money...

I love the Absorber. My technique is Califronia Balde, followed by the absorber followed by big blue if necessary (rarely)
