105 is along the lines of a sealant. You could top it with the collinite. That would be some durable protection !!

ok, looks like the civic is gunna be the first to be detailed actually....one thing to ask for this car though

i've got the front end 3m'd, is this something that we can touch? just claybar and throw the collonite on it or does it need/can it take some polishing as well?

What about seibon carbon hood/trunk? anything special i should take into consideration for those pieces for polishing/protecting?

^Make sure you protect the carbon fiber pieces, cause they WILL yellow if exposed to UV for extended periods.

That's what I had suspected, but it's ok to claybar and lsp the clear bra correct?

I also posted on DB about me having troubles spotting paint defects on my hondas (atomic blue and suzuka blue)
And I was wondering what type of lighting to use. I can really only see swirls under the sun.

I'm definately gettng the 1000w halogens, but would a fenix or the dorcy 200+ lumen flashlights come in handy for these colors?

Yes, it is ok to claybar the clear bra. Not sure about LSP though. I am pretty sure it is ok, but i haven't tried though. There is also a special 3M cleaner you can buy to help clean it and prevent yellowing.

i believe most people put their LSP on the clear bra as well. shop-lamps should help you see swirls much better, but metallics as a whole hide defects very well (blessing and a curse)
