did you try applying the squirrel by pc?

if not, did you try the glass polish by pc?

Try Claying the glass with moderate pressure.

If that doesnt work a mild polish via a PC/UDM will get it off.

if they are stubborn enough to resist what you have done so far, the answer is "yes"

pretty sure that we have guys with the machine in your area- if you dont have one, post up in your local forum that w&w suggested that you ask for someone to help you out with some glass polishing... offer to supply refreshments if they supply the pc, and knowledge. you should supply the glass polish, unless you can find someone who has some.

You could also try scrubbing them with some #0000 steel wool.

I've got a PC and some Autoglym glass polish over in Hampton, NH...come by Sat afternoon or Sun and we'll get those damn spots out...

I have this old stuff from a decade ago called "Nothing's better" Has anybody else heard of this? It is a white-powder and you touch a damp rag into it to get the product out. It works wonders!! I can't find it anymore but I have about a half a can left.

This stuff works wonders...if you've got heavy build up then they've got a polish for that as well. I've never had to use the heavy stuff, but the fine polish works perfectly. If you've got an orbital it'll cut the effort & time to about 10 minutes.

Try straight up white vinegar or apple cider vinegar. I used to use it on my boat, which had really bad water spots after use.

A household product that you can get at H-Depot is Gel-Gloss. Comes in spray and liquid. I've been happier with the liquid. Apply by hand or I guess you could use a PC. The new miracle eraser pads also work wonders.

Caution on the 0000 steel wool. Keyword Steel. Any traces left on the car will begin to rust onto the paint or in cracks/crevases.
