True that Zaino or other waxes will show up more on darker colours. The black and red ones I've seen are like mirror.
1st Coat )I used dishsoap then used Z5 + ZFX. Left it for 2 hours then took it off.
2nd Coat) Use Z2+ZFX, left for 2 hours then took off.
3rd Coat) Used Z2+ZFX, left for 2 hours then took off. Then sprayed with Z6
4th Coat) Used Z2. left overnight then took off. Then sprayed with Z6
Be patient with Sebring Silver. Just keep adding more and more coats and you'll gradually see the difference. The water beeds and it is easier to clean. Even when it is dirty and dusty, it still shines from a far.

The key to using Zaino is to use VERY SMALL amounts! If it is applied so heavily that you can see it "laying" on the surface, you're using too much.
If you're using Z-1/Z-2 or 5, drying time can be an issue, especially if you apply it too heavily and the humidity is high. Z-1 does not have to dry before applying 2 or 5. Properly applied, it should not take more than an hour for drying. If you do remove it too soon and the surface is smeary, just wipe the car down with a damp cloth and it will be fine. An additional coat of 2 or 5 can be applied 6 hours AFTER removing the previous coat if the temp is over 70F...wait 24hrs below that.
For ZFX users, 30 minutes is all it should take for drying. Up to 3 coats/day can be applied with ZFX.
You should easily get 3 coats on an S2k with 3/4oz of polish. I can and have used that amount to apply 3 coats on a 'Vette, so it is plenty to do your car.
Think of Z-6 as a maintenance item for the polish. It does help to use it just before applying a coat of polish because it will slicken the surface. Use it in between coats when applying multiples. You will find that it is great for a quick clean up when the car is lightly soiled or when bugs have committed Hari-Kari on the front of the vehicle. If you've put the polish on your windshield, not only will you get that "Rain-X" effect, but you will discover that bug removal is a snap with Z-6.
Hope this is helpful and answers some of your questions.

Here's my best Steve Treece impression :
Yes, and throw the Z-6 on there, too, if you've got it. Beads up real nice. Z-2 works great on headlight and taillight lenses.
