3M to aquire Meguiar's
Interesting...
I figured this would serve more purpose in this section than some of the others.

this also means meg's will be providing some increased pricing most likely. its all good as long as the quality in goods also goes up. both meg's and 3m are leaders in auto supplies. meg's is big time auto while 3m is everything surrounding paint so hopefully this ends up working out for everyone, especially the consumers.
hey EOE looks like u have a Valentine in your signature. how do u like it? i might be getting a passport 9500ix

guys, this is a good thing..
3M makes some of the elite detailing products, but they're only available in the UK
this means meguiar's will be able to provide us with them now

3M has stuff available over here. Not everything is UK. I have some 3M UK orange pads, but didn't get them from the UK. Plus 3M was started here in America, not overseas!!
Meguiar's probably will not provide them to us.
If anything, this will be a good R&D team, as Meguiar's is popular on both sides of the pond. As far as prices and Meg's products are concerned, only time will tell.
It will take time for everything to finalise, plus I don't think 3M will just go plug the plug on their products in a snap. If Meg's name is phased out, it will happen slowly, not overnight.

I'm talking more about their polishes.
The only meg's ones I'd consider using is #95 or #105 and they don't compare to the menzerna ones! However, 3M ultrafina is pretty damn good and many prefer it to PO85RD, so I'm thrilled that 3M took over!
