Default 303 for the softtop

Want to condition my top this spring so I went online and bought some 303. It arrives and the back of bottle says in red "Not for vinyl." Do I toss it? The bottle looks exactly like this:

That is the wrong stuff. You want 303 Aerospace vinyl protectant, the stuff you have is for fabric materials. One other good product for our convertible top is Raggtop cleaner and protectant (2 bottle kit), but 303 Aerospace is great stuff too. 303 makes a convertible top kit for vinyl tops, you get a cleaner and their 303 aerospace protectant in one kit, or you could just get their 303 aerospace protectant on its own and do your own cleaning. hth.

I believe you want the stuff on the left for the top.

I wouldn't toss it. You can use the fabric protector on clean carpet to protect it from getting dirty.

LOL. Think of it as a $15 learning experience.

Maybe he has carpeting in the toilet and really wants to test how well it can protect it.

If you have another car you might be able to use it on cloth seats?

so we have "vinyl" softtop, not "fabric" softtop, am i correct?

even for the RAGGTOP, there is a kit for vinyl and a kit for fabric, same for 303. So i am debating which one I should be going for.

also, for my leather seats, i am using auto-glym leather conditioner and cleaner, and other parts, i am using the auto-glym vinyl/rubber stuff. is that good enough? or I can just use the 303 stuff?
