Depending on how often you wash and your conditions you might do this a "few" times a year. I do mine 2-3 times per year ever since new, and the top still looks new
I apply with a rag wet with protectant, let it set a little bit, then buff/wipe with a dry towel.

is this the same stuff i already have that is stated to be a vinyl/rubber/leather protectant? aerospace 303, right? or do they make a product just for canvas tops?
