303 = Armor All??
I got a bottle of the 303 cleaner and also the 303 protectant. The protectant smells, feels (on fingers) and looks like Armor All. Is it really any different or any better? It sure makes a mess on the rear window when the top is down (which is virtually every time I drive).

no way jose!!
tubedriver-
sounds to me like you are not removing it well-
i apply vinylex or 303 to my top after washing and drying, but spraying it on a rag away from the car. wipe it down good, and get lots on... then i work on the rest of the car- my last step, after detailing the car, is to wipe down the top with a new rag, twice (two new rags)- nothing should be getting on the window or car after this procedure. it seems like nothing is left on the top except for a bit more shine, but there actually is plenty of protection.

I just used 303 for the first time a couple days ago. I tried the rag routine but I could see where I missed the next day. I went back over it with a new sponge. I soaked the edge of the new sponge and applied it with that. It was better around the back window, the front and side edges, and the places the top goes into the car.
