3-m clear bra
Hey everyone Modern Image Signworks, sells and installs the 3-m clear bra on the S2000's on top of that S2KI members get a discount!!! they also do custom pieces for rockers and wheel wells, you name it they cover it. They did a great job on mine and just thought i throw it out there for you all. I went canyon running on sunday and i thought for sure i got nailed a few times, but man was i impressed. Here is a question though, what do you all do to keep your tires from turning brown after the runs without using armor all, the last thing I want to do is go flying off the side of the road. any help?

prozaca-
welcome to the boards and especially to w & w!!
glad to hear the report on the 3m... we have a special post on that at the top of our w&w page- check it out and add your comments if you get a chance-
there are many products that are great on the rubber- many of us use the same products on tires that we use on the vinyl inside the car (303 is popular, and so is vinylex). meguiars makes a tire product (think its called endurance- smells nice but make sure you work the product really well to make sure it doesnt sling onto the car... not good for the paint).
i would wash and detail the car, which would include a separate bucket of car wash shampoo for the wheels and tires. i would use a tire brush on the tires and would finish up with the product that you prefer (if you have time and want black tires, the meg product is very good)... i would probably use whatever i was using on the vinyl interior on the wheels). whatever you use, dont use it on the treads!! (to keep the rubber side on the ground)
