Default 220v/50hz Porter Cable?

Does anyone know if there are 220v/50hz PC's in Europe? If not, do the 110v/60hz PCs work on 50Hz systems (through a transformer) without damage to the motor?

I use a 500 Watt transformer on the 110v/60hz PC.

Works fine for me.

How long have you been using the PC? I was under the impression that using 60hz motorized machinery on a 50hz system, and vice versa, will hurt the motor over time.
