Default 2012 Hyundai Veloster

Had the pleasure of detailing a Veloster this weekend looking at the blue on this car for so long it makes my laguna blue pearl look more on the greenish side lol

1 stage polishing, some spot correction and interior

Products used

Chemicals-
CG citrus wash
CG All clean +
CG NONsense
Sonax Fe wheel cleaner
AutoFinese Iron out
ONR
Stoners glass cleaner
Car pro perl
Sonax Perfect finish
WG Uber compound


Tools-
GG 3" DA
Rupes 21 w/5" BP
LC Orange flat pads 5.5"
LC White flat pad 3.5"
LC Red flat pad 3.5"
Megs MF 3"pads
Ez detail mini brush
Cleanforce 1800 pressure washer
MTM hydro
Mcllouch steamer
2 buckets/grit guards
Megs MF wash mitt
Race glaze brushes
Tire brush
Mothers wheel brush
Dayton Speed brush

LSP-
WGDP sealant
Pinnicle Black oynx tire gel

The car as it arrived










Starting off with the wheels










Car pressure rinsed then foamed with a mix of dawn, apc & citrus wash


Intricate areas followed with APC and a brush

Car was then clayed with nano skin clay towel and dried with MF towels.
Driverside revealed buffer trails everywhere




Passenger side only revealed normal wear and tear



Test spot sonax perfect finsh and LC orange flat pads




Called it a night and saved the rest for the next day

Passenger side, no where near as many defects in the paint

Perfect finish didnt quite cut it so i did a couple passes with GG3", fg400 and megs mf

FG400, poly foam pad and some elbow grease


Another spot removal with FG400 and mf pads

not completely gone but much better
