Enjoy! I was super impressed by the video he made of me/my buddy detailing this car.

Pictures of the job can also be found here: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/854.../page__st__100

Simply awesome! If you don't mind me asking, how much do you typically charge for a job like that?

We don't do this professionally... just a buddy of mine I do it with on the weekends here and there. And we really only do s2ki members' rides as I only post on s2ki... that being said, we still charge $500+ for a full paint correction like that. Considering we put in over 30 hours of work over 2 days into that car, we're not making much. It's just fun .

Do you ever use a paint thickness gauge? Is it worth getting one for home or it's overkill? You have a lot of cleaning stuff considering you do it for fun haha! I was thinking about doing something similar, but I need more practice =)

Ya we coughed up the money for one. It was kind of hard considering the price. But it does help us judge how much more cutting we can do. I think it's worth it, and it definitely has the blind factor .

What polish are you using? I'm currently using Meg M105, M205, and Menz 85rd and i'm not happy with the results on my Berlina. I'm almost out of M105 and M205 and i'm trying to figure out whats Berlina Black friendly.

m105 and menz po85rd are berlina friendly, at least for me
Black Friday isn't that far off if you got some left, there are always the best sales on and around black friday.
