looks good but i also see something else you forgot to clean...

the red calipers look almost black!

but still nice detail!

I don't offer caliper cleaning as part of my package... hell, why not do the entire control arms/rotors while I'm down there?

There are a lot more things I could do, like engine bay cleaning and whatnot, but there are only so many hours in the day and my price is very fair for what my clients get: incredible looking paint that is virtually swirlless and an overall new look to the car. This doesn't mean that I don't pay attention to details - I do little things like polish the backs of mufflers, open the doors and clean all around their rubber seals, de-oxidize all the rubber trim/cowl, etc. But I spend most of the time where it counts - getting an incredible looking clear coat that feels llike silk to the touch

For a COMPLETE car detail, that would include the entire thing, it'd have to take two days to do things like remove the seats and rails and clean there, take the wheels off and do an extensive brake/suspension degreasing - and it'd get very expensive and that's not what I want to do at the moment. Perhaps down the road I could offer such a package and I could get an assistant to help.

Tire shine is not going to clean anything. What it will do is temporarily cover up the dirt and make it look better. If your friend actually cleaned his wheel wells before applying the tire shine he would find they would look cleaner for a longer period of time.

Personally, I like to use Meguiar's Safe D-Greaser and a brush to clean the wells before applying some Meguiar's Hyper Dressing to shine them up. Of course, car wash soap solution and an old wash mitt work really well for cleaning wheel wells too.
Degreaser will work wonders in those areas. Mikey's right on track there.

How did you deal with the clear bra on the car? Did you just polish it the same as the rest of the paint? I would think it would be swirled like the rest of the paint was however, it's also a softer material so it probably wouldn't need something as aggressive as SSR 2.5?

because you cant see the control arms from 5 ft away lol

no i wasn't picking at your detail. i just saw how clean you got the inside of the wheels and i just figured you would have hit the calipers while you where in there

still clean looking car!
