Default 20 pictures to make you say "wow"

I did an 06 Laguna today - which was actually a return client of mine. I did this same car sometime last fall but it needed some swirl removal before SESM 07.

BTW, I was asked to do a detailing workshop or two during SESM for anyone attending who is interested I will be explaining the steps on a great detail, including the importance of the 2 bucket method, proper claybar procedure, and basic porter cabling.

I use Poorboy's polishes and synthetic sealant, 303 for top, Meg's for interior, clay and Invisible glass on for the glass.

If you have any questions let me know

Before wash - typical dirty stuff:

Dirty wheel

This is why you use the 2 bucket method (this is before washing the wheels too):

Swirls aplenty:

And more on the door:

Post polishing, Pre sealant (don't get too excited about the girl in teh background, I think she was like 14 )

Door swirls are all gone!

Awesome hood shot:

And another... not a swirl to be found

This shot is after I removed the synwax (left to cure for 90 minutes)

Neat finished shot from the back:

This is one of my favorite shots that I've taken. What a cool reflection:

Another cool hood shot

I do interiors pretty well too

Random shot...

Clean wheel:

Full shot

Top and windows look new:

Awesome trunk reflection: (I forgot to do something here... can anyone figure it out?)

One last shot of the taillight and polished exhaust tip:

Justin-

That looks awesome! We should open a shop together right in Atlanta or something. Haha, but looking good as always! The girl doesn't look bad either! ;-) Haha

Yeah I feel like a jerk - I didn't notice it until I got back home and looked at these pictures. I'm usually pretty anal about it too.

As for the wheel wells - it's my secret

Can you give me a general cleaner then that would work well?

My friend says tire shine, but he says it comes off in a couple of days.

Tire shine is not going to clean anything. What it will do is temporarily cover up the dirt and make it look better. If your friend actually cleaned his wheel wells before applying the tire shine he would find they would look cleaner for a longer period of time.

Personally, I like to use Meguiar's Safe D-Greaser and a brush to clean the wells before applying some Meguiar's Hyper Dressing to shine them up. Of course, car wash soap solution and an old wash mitt work really well for cleaning wheel wells too.
