To me a pass is one complete use of the product on an area. For example, I use a blue edge pad with some xmt 3 on a fender. I work the fender until the product is used up. That is one pass. If it still looks like it needs more work, I'll repeat the process making that pass 2.

What I mean by a pass is going over it until the compound breaks down.

Usually takes about 4 mins per panel. I go really slow with slight pressure when using Menz IP and yellow... a bit faster and less pressure with PO106FA and orange.. aand a bit faster with just weight of the PC when using PO106FA.

Same here,

A pass is when the material is completely broken down.

Is it different for yall rotary users?
