#@!$ Weather...Please advise on Zaino Mishap!
Ok, so I am in a bit of a situation with my latest zaino application. I had checked the weather here in Boston and sunday looked like a great day to get a full wash + coats of Z-2 on (approaching 70 degrees). So the wash went fine, then the first coat of Z-2 went on...let it dry for about 45 min, took it off...applied the next coat of Z-2...no dangerous clouds present. I went inside to watch 30 minutes of football while it dried. I look outside 10 minutes later and it is raining(!!). I run outside to find my car with water beading like crazy over the just applied (and not dry or removed) Z-2. It has rained nonstop ever since. GREAT. So my question for you guys is what do I do now? I figure I can't wait for it to dry up and wipe it off since it is no longer "clean"..and I have to go away on business for a couple of days so the earliest I could get to it would be the end of this week. What should I do?
At this point I am thinking that I will let it sit, wash with Z-7 again, airdry(?), wipe off residue?
What a pain..and it looked REAL good before this mishap..as it was coat #10 or so...
Please give me any experience/advice you have.
thanks
