I cringe every time I see a caustic comment followed by a smilie knowing that three posts later the author of it is going to say, "couldn't you tell it was all in good humor?

Gee, now I really feel bad about what I said about Matt. We need one that says, "I'm truly sorry". Hope he can find it in his heart to forgive my comments this time. Didn't mean to make anybody cringe. Sorry gang!
But this is my all time favorite.

Angela, I really hope we do not have to worry about little barbs among friends. It is the intention that counts , and I think intentions are usually good here in Vintage. Still it is understandable that people have their private and individual sensitivities. Board ethics is sometimes inherently touchy, because the communication is not face to face.
Thanks, Saki GT! Maybe we should ask Eric to add

(sniff, sniff) Thanks for the kind words, Martha and Jim but as one of the long-time members, I should know the ins and outs of our long-time members and what I can and cannot get away with without offending anyone. But don't you worry, I'll continue to be myself, I'll just pick and choose my words more carefully and who to be myself with, okay.
Okay, back to acting a fool!

G-Rod, this business of typing with only four fingers on the left hand is hard!! Damned alligators! (Or maybe it was a manatee looking for carrots in the dark water... I'm just glad Dean didn't require us to wear that cabbage underwear to the Park!!)
