I rarely get sick, a mild cold at worst. I do get the flu shot every year.

My nose got pretty stuffed up about a month ago.
Had a pretty nasty yucky hack along with it.
My trip out into the new Mexico desert seemed to clear it up.
I also got the flu and pneumonia vaccines as my cardiologist was pretty adamant about it.

And the wife is down. Pretty much on schedule with a nasty cold.
She doesn't get mildly sick, she gets whacked.
I'm pretty good at dropping a gear or two and keep on chugging until I work my through it.

Hope Barbara isn't down for the count for too long.

Boss came in a tad sick today. He'd better not be upset if I get these germs and call in sick....I've used hand sanitizer, and wiped down door knobs with disinfectant wipes. Lots of pneumonia going around. One of my Zumba instructors has it and says she can never remember being so sick. I called the pharmacy and will get a booster of the first pneumonia shot in the next couple of days. If you get the vaccines before age 65 they have to be repeated. I've had the shingles shot already, Rick did too. My son had a mild case of shingles last month at age 44. He was lucky it was a mild case, early visit to doc and started on meds. Best to see a doc within 72 hours of the rash appearing.

We spent an entire week with two sick kids and one adult at the end of November thru the 2nd. Its been over a week, so I think we avoid it.

I got my Flu shot. I was down and out for a week last year (April strange enough) with the Flu. So far, I'm illness free although it usually comes right around x-mas.
