Yeah, I thought the ads were something of a letdown. The car ads were the best and I thought the NSX ad was ok, but behind the R8 ad. Then the NFL showed its continued hatred of the Patriots by leaving them out of the Super Bowl babies ad.
I thought the best ad was the Jeep ad. The one with all of the photos through the years that ends up saying something like "we don't make Jeeps, you do". Otherwise I didn't think the ads were any better than the game.

Maybe the Pat's babies couldn't sing!

I had a rather Machiavellian thought about the Pats and Goodell and the league.
Remember back a few years when the players were going out on strike?
Who rode in on his white horse and got the deal straightened out when roger couldn't?
Kraft owns the team and will never have to justify his job to anyone.
Roger is hired by the owners to run their league.
Do you suppose that Roger got a little afraid of our dear Mr. Kraft and had to destroy his reputation so he wouldn't be a threat to his position?

or am I just being too cynical?

can you imagine roger's response if the papers said Brady was using HGH?
