An exciting Sunday night game. Here’s a few things that hurt the patriots chances:

  • The Patriots were coming of of a short week.
  • Patriots have suffered a lot of injuries.
  • Bad breaks and untimely penalties.
  • A costly turnover.
  • Playing an away game at altitude…and in inclement weather.

Denver fans were pleasantly surprised with the Bronco’s newly found running game, their defense, and Brock Osweiler’s composure throughout the game. Luckily, C.J. Anderson (Denver’s RB 5’8” 225#) who ran for the final score was short, heavy and fast; he’s built to run in the snow.

gary
That one, for me, was the biggest reason for the loss.
I'll take it regardless of the reason. Oh Happy Days!!!!!!!!

Pathetic.

Giants play the Jets next. At least you'll be able to say one NY team won next Sunday.

Teams with best D tend to win, come December and January. Check out this year's usual suspects. Pats are near the top. Surprisingly, so are the Vikings.

I don't care much about the Redskins and haven't for some time. They are leading the division with a 5-6 record. That's certainly nothing to write home about!

^^^Once the playoffs start it's anyone's game....it doesn't matter how you get there.

I guess, but even better if Pats lose again. I love it when Brady is pissed off.

Dave, your Lions gave the Packers a re-boot on their season.

This Happy Birthday Donna email we got this AM says it all.

"The title of this email is deceiving. We do wish Donna a Happy Birthday but I feel like we should be sending you a sympathy card today. Not sure if you stayed up to watch the Lions/Green Bay game last night? Lions never trailed in the whole game. Dave & Donna had Lions 3, Green Bay 1. After 60 minutes of play and with no time on the clock, the score was Lions 23, Green Bay 21. Packers last gasp play with 6 seconds left on the clock was a Hail Mary to the end zone and it was incomplete. So you win Tracy's pool of $2,500 right?? WRONG. Late flag for a face mask against the Lions on that last play. On the replay it was a VERY weak call. The Lions guy did nor grab the face mask. It was merely an incidental touch of the face mask. Game can't end on a penalty. Packers get 15 yards closer and Rogers throws up another Hail Mary and this time the other Rodgers for Green Bay catches it in a jump ball in the end zone and Packers win the game in dramatic fashion 27-23. Kookie wins the $2,500 in Tracy's pool and Dave & Donna get Birthday cake. Kookie better be buying you several drinks the next time he sees you at Tracy's because you got totally screwed by the refs on that last penalty call!"

N.Y. Jets vs the N.Y. Giants tomorrow afternoon. I wish Revis wasn't hurt. The matchup between him and Odell Beckham could've been very interesting. As it is, without Revis and if Eli Manning gets enough time to throw, Beckham should have a great game.

I hope the Jets win, but they're both NY teams so I'm good either way.
