Traveler, what kind of work do you do you skallywag? I'm strictly scientific/commercial these days, but used to do a lot of yacht work back in my 100/500/1600 ton days.
More on topic, I did a sailing circumnavigation back in the 70's with my family. I distinctly recall learning a whole new vocabulary one horribly rough night in the Gulf Stream, handing my father tools as he lay in the hot and filthy bilge under our 15 year old Hanomag diesel trying to change a water pump impeller.

I drill oil and gas wells for a living......wayyyyy worse than a sailor.

Didn't like the structure of the poll..... I cuss when I'm alone and am frustrated. I trained myself never to use the Lord's name in cursing, but for some reason, can't seem to cure myself of the rest of my four letter vocabulary. Alas......

I'm the daughter of a building contractor so daddy taught me early on some of his choice swear words. With the hot, humid summer we've been having, I've been using them on a regular basis. When I'm not happy, I cuss the most.
