If indeed, an insurance company is charging more for yellow cars than other colors, my guess is that it's because the owners will be recieving more speeding tickets. Not that their owners actually drive any faster but because the cars stand out and catch attention. I know if I'm driving on the freeway, I see yellow cars in my peripheral vision but a silver car can go by unnoticed by me.
