Would you display a political sign in your yard?

Yes but only for state and local candidates and only if I know them well.

I remember in the 60's when I was young some entertainment type resorts like "Frontier Town" would slap one of their stickers on your bumper while you were inside. My dad would always take them off but they were really on there. What a pain to get them off! Even at that young age I thought it wasn't right for them to do that.

I once had a friend who was running for provincial election but he was running for the party I did not want to vote for. Somehow his sign crew put a sign up on my lawn when I was away at work one day. I came home and removed the sign. I did want to support my friend, but not the party he was running for. And I did not want anyone to know my voting preference regardless, so never any signs on my home, and I dont like any bumper stickers of any kind on my vehicles.
We dont tend to see bumper stickers supporting politicians in our region of our country, it isnt a popular thing to have political bumper stickers. We do have many vehicles displaying a one-finger wave decal though, they include a colourful comment and the name of our current Prime Minister, I get a chuckle out of them.
