As it turns out, my mother has a doc appt tomorrow at 1:30, so I'm going to miss a lot of the US match. I'll take my tablet with me - maybe I can follow on that.

Not me, Dave. I did try for about 4 minutes (maybe 2). Lots of fans complain about the lack of support for soccer in the USA. I often hear them say "American's just don't get soccer." I think those fans just don't get America. BUT, the country seems to be changing and with that change comes an appreciation for soccer. As I understand it there have been more Americans watching the World Cup this year than ever before.

It's a sad day. IMO the US was totally outperformed. I was wishing for more offense.
