Wintergreen from or via NE Ohio

Wintergreen from or via NE Ohio
Virginija and I are (for now, at least) planning on heading out from the east side of Cleveland about 7-8pm Thursday, and making it to about the Breezewood exit off of the PA Turnpike. That's about 4 hours drive, leaving less than 4 hours for Friday, so we'll arrive with plenty of time to relax in the afternoon.
Anyone heading from or through NE Ohio - check in here. We may be able to cruise together or maybe meet up for the second half on Friday. (Anyone going through Breezewood Friday morning should post, too).

How about on your way home? I may be able to join you going home on Sunday, for a while. I haven't given much thought yet to my route home, except that I will stop overnight in Colorado Springs.

Jonas, just looking at map here, it looks like I'd go west on 64 and then north on 77 for a bit, up to Charleston West Virginia, to get back west on 64. Is that how you would be going? I haven't used my GPS yet to get it's suggestion.

That way back would take me about 40 miles further than heading straight north on I-81, the 522 north straight through Berkeley Springs, then oonto I-70 to the PA Pike. I can consider that route, though - it looks considerably more scenic.

)We would arrive there about 11PM or later. Since the drive the next morning is not so long, there's no hurry to get on the road in the morning. I'd anticipate leaving there about 10AM.

I can meet you at the Chambersburg interchange of Route 81 South if you can give me a time to be there Friday morning. Driving distance 
remaining is about 190 miles. Jay

JayHowever, Lainey just mentioned a visit to Grand Caverns - just south of Harrisburg. We might try to make it - I love caverns, and it's right along the way.
