Deb, you have a father to be proud of and I'm sure you have many good memories that will last you forever. I hope the sorrow heals soon and you enjoy those good memories.

Thanks again...my mom almost fainted when she saw the clock urn. I need to take a picture of it. Preparing for the reception tomorrow. Many Rotarians will be in attendance. They are like the Marines - show up in force!

The reception yesterday was really great. Many more people showed up than expected and the Rotarians were indeed out in force. Quite a few told stories about my dad, who had an insatiable curiosity about all kinds of subjects. The Tysons Rotary, which he co-founded (the other founder was there) published a nice tribute to him in their journal. Today, most family members departed, with the exception of my sister, who is staying awhile longer. Calm has settled over my parents' house, which is good for my mom. It's been a stressful week. Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers.
