Default Why I like Silver S2000s.

Silver S2000 owners have absorbed the condescending remarks from the other color owners for years, but now it’s time to fight back! Here’s why I own a SILVER S2000.

  • Silver cars accentuate the body lines.
  • Silver cars always look classy.
  • Silver cars look clean even when dirty.
  • Silver cars ward off werewolves.
  • Silver cars don’t hurt my eyes when I open the garage door in the morning.
  • Silver cars will prevent traffic tickets.
  • Silver cars intrigued the Hunt brothers.
  • Silver cars make you appear better educated than black, yellow, blue, red or white owners.
  • Silver cars accept any color interior (try blue with a yellow or red interior)
  • Silver cars are an accepted mainstay, very well liked, and easier to sell.
  • Silver cars …well, they’re just me -- and I love the non-color and they take on a euphoric hue of their surroundings that’s just beautiful.
FYI, I own a Silverstone S2000. Why do you like your silver S2000?

Sorry but I cannot tell you why I like our Silver S2000 as we do not have one. Silver is my least favorite color on an S2000. We like our Suzuka Blue S2000, for many of the reasons you posted. Vintage Blue is classy, doesn't call too much attention to itself, it's mature without being stodgy.

If we did not have blue, we would have yellow, (hubby's first choice has grown on me) red, Laguna blue, or black.

HOWEVER, I do like silver on other vehicles. My Jeep Liberty looked great in silver, IMO, terrible in white. A Silver Mercedes SLK is pretty sharp.

If I had a choice between no S2K and a silver one, I'd take a silver one.

A silver S2k is boring no matter the shade, it says I’m too cautious in life and rarely have any fun, so I will default to Bla...

Nope, the car doesn't need an 'in your face' color. I do have to admit though that I did get the red/black interior to brighten it up a bit.

There must be something to it as there's a buttload of them around. Miatas, Z3s, Z4s, and Nisson 3XXZs as well. Just never seemed a proper color for a proper sports car to me.

I will admit to a slight bias toward black cars however.
