Good morning! This week +1 Chris' cousin from Mannheim Germany is visiting. He and Chris are running the Houston Marathon on Sunday, He arrived early in the wee hours today.

up early to make the drive up to Maine for my uncle's funeral.
250 miles each way but at least the weather looks to be cooperating.

It was a funeral you would have liked Lainey.
The Pastors, both of them had both known my uncle for many years and had eaten at his table.
Both had many years of anecdotes which could have been shared. ( and quite a few that couldn't )

So it wasn't the "dearly beloved we are gathered here to honor ( psst what's his name?) Richard. " type deal.
And even better there was no recruiting to the fold.
