Nice pics!

We had 6-8" and still snowing. I don't think our area will get as much as others.

I'm still debating bundling up to go out and take pics. It's so nice and warm in the house.

It's 3:00 PM EDST, in NY (middle of Long Island) The snow is 12+ inches and I'm heading out with my 17 yr old son and some friends to snowboard/sled at a local state park.
I doubt I'll spend more than an hour outside; it's 25 degrees out.

I've found that since I've turned 35, going DOWN the hills is fun...
going BACK UP the hills is NOT FUN.

The storm wimped out on us we only got about 3 inches I was hoping for more like 2 feet! I did some snow removal at work and I was planning on going out on my snowmobile to play after work tonight but I'm pretty beat. Tomorrow night is a full moon so I'm hoping to get out for a moonlight ride tomorrow night.

Robb,

Moonlight snowmobile ride sounds neat, but I think moonlight ride in the "S" sounds so much better.

Rick just came in from the second snow clearing. He guesses our total to be 8-9", hard to tell with the blowing and drifting. I wimped out and stayed in where it's warm.

I say we have about 6 - 8 inches. I'm located about 80 miles North of NYC.

No snow play here. It's 70*F right now at 2:18 PM. Andy and I went to Kennedy Meadows Friday afternoon and it was dry but 20*F there on Friday night. I'm going to go for a top down S drive, after I catch up here.

Thanks. What I don't understand is how this didn't make the news yesterday. Even if they wanted to keep it quiet, I would have thought something might have leaked out.

He's not much into cookies. But I did buy him a bottle of his favorite brandy to help warm him when he comes in. If that doesn't work..............................
