We have had record cold the past weekend. It was 17 in Acton on Saturday night and it froze and broke the water pipes in the garage attic. Quite a wet mess.

Oh Eeeeeeeemmmmms? Inquiring minds want to know what it's looking (and feeling) like in your neck of the deep freeze?
I can feel the cold front moving in now and what a difference a day makes.

we had cold weather, middle of this week, down to (minus)-24*C,(around-15*F),and some snow, but not much.
Don't worry,the ice palace won't melt.
When are you coming in???
Emil.

Not too much snow so far, I see.
We've got about 30 * but the wind is howling. Gusts possible up to 45 mph today. If you believe in the wind chill factor, temp "feels like" 15*. Either way, it's nasty out there.
